Ooof it’s been a while, hasn’t it?
I’ve missed sending these out so much. Life’s been completely unhinged (in good ways and chaotic ones). I’ve been deep in building WTFund, we’ve met some of the most incredible young founders in the past few months and honestly, it’s been magic. On the flipside, I also managed to tear my ACL (yes, I cried, yes, I’m hobbling around like a determined toddler), so everything from stairs to structured thought has been… an adventure.
In between, I’ve been writing a lot (some of you have messaged me about my Substack posts, thank you, ily), rediscovering how fun it is to deep dive into niche internet rabbit holes, and developing a completely irrational attachment to putting flaxseed on literally everything I eat. If you have thoughts on this (or a better seed suggestion?), I’m all ears.
Also, since I’m currently spending an unreasonable amount of time stuck in bed icing my knee, please send me your best books, shows, movies, weird YouTube channels, and hyper-specific newsletters. I’m building a recovery-season media shelf and I want your recs on it.
This Hiring Update has been sitting half-written in my drafts for weeks now, and putting it together reminded me of how much I love making these. So if you’ve missed them too, let me know! Comment, reply, forward it to a friend. That’s how I know it’s worth keeping up.
And now, the jobs: this round has everything. Vibes. Depth. Founder-track roles. And a couple of ones that might just change your life (or at least your rent bracket).
Go apply, refer, or just daydream. And as always, tell them HK’s Newsletter sent you.
As usual, a reminder- every once in a while, you will have a short list of start-ups and roles landing in your inbox. I cannot take any personal guarantee of what these roles will lead to, of course, so please consider me merely a conduit! If you find these updates useful, consider buying me a coffee (since I need a fair amount to keep up with this!)
