Hiring Update #17 (Part 2)
I don’t always do this, but these are two fantastic cos run by two dear friends, so I just had to sneak in part 2 :)
As usual, a reminder- every once in a while, you will have a short list of start-ups and roles landing in your inbox. I cannot take any personal guarantee of what these roles will lead to, of course, so please consider me merely a conduit! If you find these updates useful, consider buying me a coffee (since I need a fair amount to keep up with this!)
Even is creating an entirely new healthcare system for India. We believe that broken incentives in insurance and healthcare lead to poor insurance products and a healthcare system that often overtreats and overmedicates patients. With Even, we’re trying to integrate the two with our in-house doctors, radiology centers and soon-to-be hospitals too.
We’ve just raised a fresh round from Khosla Ventures and Founders Fund and are looking to add a senior product designer to the team, ready for our scale-up.
This person would be a partner to the tech & product teams and would play a key role in guiding strategy and would hopefully scale with us to the public markets. This is a great opportunity to work towards building a “never done before” model in healthcare - along with a group of bright, ambitious, and kind individuals. An ideal fit would be someone who has 4-8 years of diverse product design experience, passionate about user (member) experience, can problem solve effectively, is able to context switch between being an IC and a strategic mentor & preferably has experience working with startups in their growth phase.
